Yarn: 1,449 yards in total in 7 skeins of combed yarn (the original yarn was discontinued)
Hook: 5.0 mm (H / 8)






INSTRUCTIONS

Line 1: (RS) Dc in the 4th pc of the needle. (The initial chain of each line counts as the first sc.) Sc in each point across the end. Ch1, turn. (113 AD)

Row 2: (reverse) Sc in the first 4 sts, * dc5tog in the next point, sc in the next 3 sts. * Repeat from * to * until the end of the row, ending the row with 1 sc at the top of the spinning chain.

Line 3: (RS) Change to the second banner color. Chapter 3, turn. Descend across the line to the end, skipping the Ch1 turn, turn around.




Row 4: (reverse) Sc in the first 2 sts, * dc5tog in the next point, sc in the next 3 sts. * Repeat from * to * until the last 3 sts. Finish the round with another scd and sc in the last 2 sts (last st at the top of the turning chain).

Line 5: (RS) Change the color to the 3rd stripe skein. Work as for line 3.

Line 6 at the end: Repeat lines 2 to 5, changing the colors in the odd lines, until you feel that the blanket is almost square or until the thread runs out!
